Power in isekai is often mistaken for a combat stat when it is actually a measure of autonomy. Because a YPS-7 hybrid and a YPS-4 authority operate on entirely different axes, a direct combat comparison is meaningless. The real divergence lies in how they exercise will. Anos embodies the sovereign individual, using his ability to rewrite physical laws as a tool for establishing peace and protecting bonds. His trajectory is not about escalation, but about the restraint required to exist among the fragile. In contrast, Demiurge represents the horror of the optimized tool. While Anos drives his narrative with total self-determination, Demiurge’s existence is a reflection of Ainz Ooal Gown’s perceived desires. His efficiency is not a personal achievement but a programmed function, evidenced by his systemic commodification of human life into parchment for the Sorcerer Kingdom. One character uses law-breaking capacity to preserve life; the other uses geopolitical authority to dismantle it. This reveals a fundamental divide in the genre: isekai treats high-tier power either as a catalyst for moral maturity or as a mechanism for systemic dehumanization. The contrast is not found in their output, but in who owns their purpose.
